Susan and Eric picked one of Savannah’s finest venues, the Telfair Museum, for their reception site. Cocktail hour in the sculpture gallery kicked of this fabulous fall Savannah wedding reception. White the guests mingled, signed their Savannah themed guest book, and enjoyed passed hors d’ oeuvres, our team put the final touches on the upstairs tables. Guests found their seats by the adorable place cards which sat in mini pinecones on their individual place setting. The beautiful floral arrangements and tall twig candle holders were complimented by gold glass rimmed chargers, simple yet elegant menu cards and copper lamour napkins that polished off the warm and inviting tablescapes. Lighting is EVERYTHING and we are firm believers in budgeting money to allow for some great lighting options. For this even, we hung lanterns from the ceiling, had up lighting on the walls in orange and yellows, and for a multidimensional feel, added some leaf gobos that highlighted the dance floor. All of these details really helped create the rustic, warm, and fall feeling to this reception. Guests were given jars of Savannah’s local honey from Savannah Bee Company for favors with tags that read “ How sweet it is to be loved by you…thanks.“ Hats off to Minette Rushing of Custom Cakes for a show stopping cake! Not only was it amazing to look at, it tasted even better and because this was a small wedding, there was plenty left over for guests to take home. Susan had personalized cake boxes made to give guests and extra piece as they left the reception for a late night snack! All in all, this event was more than breathtaking, it was a true reflection of some of the best vendors Savannah has to offer, working together to create an unforgettable affair for an unforgettable couple. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day and trusting us to plan and give you exactly what you envisioned your wedding to be.
