Adding “Something Old” to your Bouquet!

We all know the phrases, “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue!” And it never fails that we forget or completely draw a blank on one or more of them. So today we are starting from the top with Something Old! I love the idea of wearing your something old in your bouquet! The vintage pieces add to your bouquet, but don’t take away from your modern bridal look.

Add photos to an antique locket to attach to your bouquet. You can find lockets anywhere and it’s always great if you have a family heirloom, but I think Etsy and Ebay will be full of brilliant antique pieces!

Use antique lace or better yet, a piece of your mother or grandmothers wedding gown as the fabric to wrap your bouquet. If you aren’t a fan of lace, any vintage fabric that works with your theme will do!!

Find pretty antique and vintage brooches to your bouquet handle. Etsy is absolutely chockablock full of beautiful vintage jewels!!!

Be original. Lauren

  1. This is a good idea. I never thought of incorporating the "something old" on bouquets. My cousin is getting married two months from now, so i am going to share these brilliant tips to her. Thanks.
